Administrative/Family Services Volunteer
In this role, you will answer and direct phone calls, take information from prospective families inquiring about a room, properly sign-in visitors and meal donors, log-in and process donations, assist with mailings, facilitate room checks and check-outs, perform House tours and more.

As an Administrative/Family Services Volunteer, you should commit to a regular and consistent schedule, preferably on a weekly basis. The following shifts are available:

Weekdays: 9am to 12pm, 12 to 4pm, 4 to 7 pm, 7 to 10 pm
Weekends: 9am to 12pm, 12 to 2pm, 2 to 4pm, 4 to 6pm, and 6 to 8 pm

Heart-of-the-Home Volunteer
Family common rooms are the heart of our home! This is the position for you if you want to greet guests when they enter the dining room or kitchen, answer questions regarding the location of items in these areas, take inventory of groceries in our pantry and replenish items, prepare lunch or dinner as needed, and perform general housekeeping duties.

Heart-of-the-Home Volunteers may commit to a weekly shift or volunteer periodically. The following shifts are available:

Weekdays: 9am to 12pm, 12 to 4pm, 4 to 7 pm, 7 to 10 pm
Weekends: 9am to 12pm, 12 to 2pm, 2 to 4pm, 4 to 6pm, and 6 to 8 pm

House Management Volunteer
This kind of volunteer actively assists our House Manager to clean and prepare vacant rooms for incoming families, wash and fold laundry, complete tasks in the Housekeeping and Maintenance logbooks, sort and prepare pop tabs for recycling, organize bulk pantry, inventory products for purchase, and provide general support to all guests.

House Management Volunteers may commit to weekly shifts or volunteer periodically. The following shifts are available:

Weekdays: 9am to 12pm, 12 to 4pm, 4 to 7 pm, 7 to 10 pm
Weekends: 9am to 12pm, 12 to 2pm, 2 to 4pm, 4 to 6pm, and 6 to 8 pm

Floater Volunteer
If your availability does not match our pre-set schedule, you may opt to become a Floater. As a floater, you will be able to “float” in and out of shifts and various positions and projects.

Special Events Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help with the planning and staging of several special events which raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. Click here to learn more.
